Named for Mawu
In Fon and Ewe tradition across West Africa, Mawu represents the moon — a symbol of night, motherhood, and rest, tied to the rhythms that move through every body. We named the brand after her because that's the promise: something already tuned to the rhythm you live by.
From the founder
"It started as an offhand wish at work: a box of exactly what she was craving, timed to arrive before her period. She wasn't asking me to build it. I built it anyway."
